Public Class - Infant Massage for Parents & Caregivers - with J. Taylor

  • Brownstone Station Wellness Center 320 East 2nd Street Hummelstown, PA, 17036 United States (map)

Suite B Entrance to Lodge Room

Infant Massage promotes the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system.

Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system. Infants benefit from touch. Physically, massage stimulates the nerves and strengthens the immune system. Massage can help with colic, constipation, and ease digestion.

During this hands-on class, parents/caregivers will be shown how to effectively massage their infant (ages newborn - 12 months). Several handouts and massage oil will be included with this class.

Please bring your infant and a baby doll to the class (in case your child falls asleep or does not want to be massaged), diaper bag/feeding supplies, notepad & pen, small blankets and a pillow.

Classes are open to parents, caregivers, grandparents, Expectant Moms, daycare workers, Massage Therapists, and anyone else interested in learning Infant Massage. LIMITED TO 6 FAMILIES.

Price is $60 per family.
