About the Event
The Chod is an ancient Tibetan practice used for healing - physical healing, mental healing and karmic healing. The word chod means to cut or sever - cutting attachments that cause suffering. These can be old traumas, fear or resentment.
During the Healing Chod, the monks will use chants and sound to assist in cutting the attachments.
While there is never a charge for the Sacred Art Tour events, a suggested donation of $25 would be greatly appreciated. All donations go to the 2,000 monks residing at the monastery.
Participants should be prepared to lie or sit on the floor for approximately one hour. Bring a yoga mat, blankets and pillows for comfort. Chairs will be available for those who prefer.
Space is limited so register to reserve your spot.
Tuesday, April 15th Chod starts promptly at 6:30pm
