RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher
Julieta Grodensky is a certified yoga instructor in Central PA. An eager student, she was first certified through Free Spirit Yoga in Hershey, PA, under the wonderful guidance of Stephanie Trump. She later completed her second 200-hour training through Wild + Free Power Yoga in Elizabethtown, PA, under the incredible instruction of Jesse Cassady (The Grateful Yoga) and Lindsay Helt.
Julieta found yoga when she was in the depths of rediscovering herself after leaving the military. At the time, moving gently and kindly was a bit foreign to her, but soon enough, her yoga mat became a constant place to land precisely as she was and just ~be~ As her practice grew, Jules noticed she started to more clearly understand her breath, body, mind, and spirit and who she is at her core. This better understanding allowed her to connect to herself and those around her more authentically. To her, this is the power and magic of yoga.

In her class, she focuses on creating a safe and welcoming environment where you can show up as you are, knowing that each day will be different. You can expect smooth music and creative sequences, but all she asks is that you honor yourself and your unique experience. Go at your own pace, take what feels good, nudge the edges of discomfort and challenge, and leave whatever doesn't resonate. Whether that's in the form of breath to movement or deep breaths in stillness - the time spent in class is yours to experience as you wish.

When she is not teaching yoga, you can find her out in nature with her husband and pups, playing childish tennis games at the local park, drinking too much espresso at a local coffee house, or curled up with her kitty and a good book.

Cheri was born on a dairy farm in MD, where her upbringing instilled a deep understanding of agriculture. She learned about cultivating food for animals and gardens for people, as well as age-old healing remedies passed down by her parents. Her experience hand-milking cows not only developed her gentle hands for massage therapy but also led to an affinity for caring for animals with love, compassion, and respect. Growing up surrounded by her mom and oldest sister’s cooking and baking, Cheri developed a profound love for culinary arts.

From a young age, Cheri envisioned a career in healthcare, initially torn between animal or human care. In high school, she sang in the chorus and volunteered as an aide to a physical therapist in a local nursing home, solidifying her decision to pursue healthcare for people. Graduating with an Associates of Science in Nursing (RN) from Hagerstown Junior College in May 1987, she began her journey working up and down the East Coast due to her life as a military wife.

Her professional and personal growth flourished during her time at the National Cancer Institute of National Institutes of Health in Oncology/Immunology and at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in May 1996. Concurrently, she earned certification in Vascular Nursing while working in critical care units, facing and ultimately overcoming a congenital health issue by innovating minimally invasive approaches alongside a team of medical and alternative care practitioners.

Relocating to PA in March 1997, Cheri integrated her diverse experiences from various healthcare roles, including Clinical RN, Corporate Management, Nurse Educator, Research Protocol Nurse at NCI of NIH, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Energy Practitioner.
